Hi, my name is Gregor, I live in Scotland though might move to another neck of the woods sometime. I used to be a professional writer and historian but have fallen on hard times. I previously blogged on Christian Social Democrat politics (deformablemirror.blogspot.com). But the modern British political situation is so depressing and ridiculous I pretty much gave that up. I might restart if Scotland gets its independence (Big Tam returning AND me blogging again, come on Caledonians!) I made a half-hearted effort to blog at another place, 'owl of the 80s', but have given that up. Think the title was basically off-putting despite being a triple entendre. Also briefly started a blog on Scottish history but felt depressed doing it for free after getting paid for it. Anyhow, this blog will primarily be about my favourite horror, sci-fi and fantasy films and books.
